This week’s task is to gather controversies regarding gaming as much as possible. Our lecturer stated that we should aim on quantity and not on quality. I guess that the reason behind it is to have a great variety from where to choose a debate topic. Below is the controversy gaming list:
Computer Processing Units – Is Intel CPU better then AMD’s CPU?
Graphic Cards – Are NVIDIA Graphic Cards better the AMD’s?
Smart Phone Operating System – Android or iOS?
Violence in Games – Do you think that by playing violent games you become more violent as a person?
Games – Current games against Older games. Do you think that today games are more focused on graphics and storytelling then on the gameplay itself?
Games more focus on Consoles – Do you agree that games are being more focused on consoles and are never created or bugged versions for pc?
Konami vs Hideo Kojima – Do you agree with the way that Konami treated Hideo Kojima?
Apple Removing Confederate Flag – The confederate flag was banned when it was associated with racism. It could only be used in historical context. Apple ignored this rule and removed all games that used the flag. Do you agree?
Konami Cancels Pt Game – Do you agree that Konami cancelled Pt?
Unfinished Indie Games – A lot of indie games are abandoning the game after the money goal is reached. How do you feel about it? And do you still support these developers?
Unity Game Engine – No longer supports Android with non-neon CPUs. This had led Unity to be compatible only with new Android models while leaving the others behind.
